Design brief
Today's brief called for the design of a single letter logo. It could be for a major corporation or a personal brand.
Proposal
I chose letter Z for this exercise. I didn't try to imagine a particular business, organization or product behind the logo, simply aiming for a clear, modern looking and dynamic logo. Starting with the Futura geometric font, I split my letter in two halves and started moving the two resulting pieces appart, eventually creating another Z in the negative space between those elements.
