This is my concept proposal for day 2 of the daily logo design challenge, a 50-day journey toward becoming a better logo designer and art director.
Design brief
Design a hot air balloon logo. Optional company name: Lift, Crown (the very top part of the balloon), Whoosh. I chose to work on the Lift alternative.
Proposal
My main idea was to design a simplified hot air balloon and use it as the (inverted) I letter in the Lift company name. For the typography, I started with Proxima Soft and tweaked it to create a continuous flow between the L, F and T letters.
